Heritage & Origins

Headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon — a city with a long tradition of craft, commerce, and cosmopolitan taste — Furoar draws on a regional heritage of meticulous handwork and an uncompromising eye for quality. Our roots in the Levant inform both our sensibility and our standards: nothing leaves our hands unless it is exactly right.

Our design studio is located in Bollate, Milan — at the heart of Italy's furniture and design district. Here, each commission is conceived, drawn, and refined before a single material is selected. The proximity to Italy's finest artisan workshops, material houses, and finishing ateliers is not incidental; it is foundational to what Furoar produces.

The Bespoke Process

Every Furoar piece begins with a private consultation. We learn the architecture of the space, the character of the animal, the preferences of the household, and the aesthetic language already present in the room. Only then do we begin to design.

Materials are sourced to specification — hand-selected hardwoods, full-grain leathers, tempered glass, brushed metals, and natural stone finishes. Structural engineering is considered alongside visual proportion. Each piece is built to endure decades of daily use while remaining an object of quiet beauty.

Lead times reflect the nature of the work: commissions typically require 12 to 26 weeks from approval to delivery. We do not rush. Our clients do not ask us to.

Design Philosophy

We describe our aesthetic as museum-grade with a spa-like sensibility: the precision and permanence of an institution, the warmth and calm of a sanctuary. A Furoar piece should feel at home in a gallery, a penthouse, or a private estate — and it should make the animal within it feel exactly the same.

We work across species — cats, dogs, birds, and reptiles — because the principles of thoughtful design apply equally to all. Scale, material, microclimate, sightlines, and tactile comfort are considered for every commission, regardless of its occupant.

Furoar serves private clients across Europe, the Middle East, North America, and Asia. Our commissions have been placed in primary residences, secondary estates, yachts, and private aviation interiors. We handle international logistics, installation coordination, and post-delivery care as part of every engagement.
